Payroll21 ESS (ESS - Employee Self Service) is a module of
Crown HRMS that works with Payroll21.
Employees can access Payroll21 ESS through any standard
browser. The Software will be installed at customer
premises and employees can access the data through
customer’s intranet/internet network.
Using Payroll21 ESS, employees can access certain payroll
related information, view certain reports and enter their
tax related data.
Payroll21 ESS is extremely simple to use and customers
will find it an added advantage to have this along with
Payroll21.
Features:
Reports
Payroll21 ESSgives the facility to view the following
reports by the employee:

Payslip
•
Computation Sheet
•
Paystatement summary
•
Reimbursement slip
These reports can be viewed as well as print out can be
taken by the employees.
If the company desires, individual reports can be disabled
from viewing by employees. For example, if a company wants
only payslip and computation sheet to be accessed by the
employees, then the remaining two reports can be disabled
for viewing.
Also the reports will not be available for viewing for
employees as soon as the salary is processed. After the
salary processing and thorough verification is done, when
ready, these reports can be generated through a separate
menu in Payroll21. Only after this, these will be
available for the employees to view.
Tax Related Entries
Payroll21 allows to view/enter tax related data through
the following screens:
Ch VIA
– 80C & 80CCC
Under each component, the proposed and proof given amount
can be viewed. The proposed amount can be changed by the
employee. The proof given amount will be entered by
Payroll21 admin staff only.
Ch VIA
– Other
Sections
Under each component, the proposed and proof given amount
can be viewed. The proposed amount can be changed by the
employee. The proof given amount will be entered by
Payroll21 admin staff only.
Other Income
Here the declared and proof given amount can be viewed
under each category. The declared amount can be entered by
the employee. The proof given amount will be entered by
Payroll21 admin staff and the IT computation will always
be on proof given amount.
Rent Paid
Here the declared and proof given amount can be viewed for
each month. The declared amount can be entered by the
employee. The proof given amount will be entered by
Payroll21 admin staff and the IT computation will always
be on proof given amount.
Previous Employment details
This is for newly joined employees in the current FY. They
can view the decaled and proof given amount from the
previous employment. The declared amount can be entered by
the employee. The proof given amount will be entered by
the Payroll21 admin staff and the IT computation will
always be on proof given amount.
