Query Builder function in Payroll21...

A new query builder function is available in Payroll21 now. This function will be available as part of 'Professional Plus' version. This is in addition to the User Defined Report facility already available in Payroll21.

Query builder allows user to create queries on Employee and Salary details in a simple way. User can create multiple queries and save them such that they are available as standard reports later. 'Year To Date' information is available for salary details.

Following are the features of the Query Builder function:

  • Select field option - user can select the required fields in the report

  • Select field option - user can select the required fields in the report

  • Filter by option - facility to filter information as per requirement

  • Sort by option - facility to sort information as per requirement

  • Group by option - facility to group information as per requirement

  • Formula builder - facility to define a new field in the report based on already available field(s)

  • Report for a period - facility to define 'from' and 'to' and to define 'cumulative' or 'monthly' information

  • Excel export - all the outputs created using Query Builder can be exported to MS Excel
