Account21 is more popular for its powerful Invoicing and Inventory functions.

From simple billing in retail shops to complex Export / Excise invoices with packing list can be generated using Account21. Multiple invoice formats with tax/duty components, discounts, automatic round off etc. can be very easily designed exactly as required by the user. The in-built Document Designer helps to design print formats for printing invoices on all kinds of paper and printers, exactly as desired including company specific logos. To make the bill/invoice entry very simple and fast, user can create different invoice templates with default accounts, taxes, duties, discounts etc. A special sales report can give item wise or day wise sales details.

Account21 has two inventory options - Trading and Manufacturing. Some of the salient features of Account21 inventory are:
 

• Up to 3 units for each inventory item. For example, an item can be purchased in cases, invoiced in bottles and stock report generated in liters. Account21 has a special item wise stock summary where the stock summary of each item is presented in different units.
• requirement report can be created by considering the stock in hand, requirement as per sales order, min stock to be kept and items expected as per pending purchase orders.
• With the Manufacturing Inventory option, BOM items can be defined with the parts and cost of an item can be computed from the cost of its parts. Issue to/from production can be entered in to the system and this allows tracking of Work in Progress.
